Overview
We are inviting applications for two Trainee Information Analyst positions within our Business Intelligence Team. These roles begin at Band 4 and provide a structured progression to Band 5 through a dedicated development framework. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Team Leader and receiving supervision from the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, the successful candidates will produce complex analytical reports and assist divisional senior managers by providing detailed data interpretation and advisory support.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate performance monitoring reports to track progress and outcomes.
- Complete and submit statutory returns following departmental procedures.
- Create, maintain, and enhance a variety of reports, scorecards, and dashboards, including handling ad hoc queries to aid informed decision-making.
- Conduct benchmarking, forecasting, and trend analysis reporting to identify insights and guide strategies.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues through monitoring and investigation.
- Implement automation to streamline and reduce manual workload in labor-intensive processes.
Working Conditions
You will be part of a small, collaborative team that utilizes a hybrid working model involving both onsite and remote work. The position requires a minimum presence of two days per week at the office located in Farnworth.
