About the Role
This position is based in Stockton and involves practical outdoor work as part of a team. The role suits someone who takes satisfaction in providing reliable service and can support the setup of traffic management arrangements at customer locations while handling day-to-day traffic-related issues.

Role Overview
As a Traffic Operative, you will travel to sites, install traffic management equipment, and support the smooth and safe operation of traffic schemes. You will also help customers understand the correct use of the equipment so it can be operated safely and in line with standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install traffic management equipment at customer sites in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Guide customers on safe and correct equipment use.
- Inspect equipment returned from site and complete the required paperwork or electronic records.
- Carry out maintenance and minor repairs on traffic equipment.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Follow instructions and procedures carefully and keep records accurate, mainly using an electronic device.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and members of the public while maintaining a positive approach.
Location and Working Requirements
You may live anywhere across the region, as the depots serve a wide area. The role must comply with the Working Time Directive and domestic driving hours rules.
About You
No previous traffic management background is required, as full training will be provided. Applications are welcome from people with potential and the right attitude to learn.
