Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operator / Storeperson to join our Mackay, Queensland team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, picking, packing, paint tinting, and dispatching of goods.
- Perform stock control activities including cycle counts and stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and handle goods safely and efficiently.
- Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication and careful management of stock within the Trade Centre.
- Process documentation such as Dangerous Goods paperwork, delivery dockets, and consignment notes accurately.
- Support the Trade Centre Manager by assisting with data entry, reporting tasks, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Must hold a valid forklift license and be experienced in operating counterbalance forklifts.
- Possess a current manual driver's license.
- Experience with SAP software is preferred but not essential.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Good physical condition to meet job demands.
- Self-driven and motivated with excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities.
- Team-oriented with proven communication skills and a cooperative work style.
