Job description
Job Overview
This role is focused on designing, developing, and implementing detailed test plans to ensure quality in cloud-based software applications, with an emphasis on Python programming and UI automation tools. The candidate will also take responsibility for creating ETL automation scripts to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute thorough testing strategies for cloud applications using Python and UI automation technologies.
- Work collaboratively across various teams to detect software defects and ensure prompt resolution.
- Develop automation scripts for ETL processes to manage data flow from multiple sources to target destinations.
- Evaluate and interpret testing outcomes to monitor progress and suggest improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess between 4 to 9 years’ experience in software testing, especially in cloud environments like Azure or AWS and ETL automation.
- Have strong proficiency with Python programming, particularly for task automation.
- Experience in UI automation using frameworks such as Selenium or Appium is essential.
