Position Overview

The company seeks a meticulously organized Tendering Specialist to oversee the entire process of government and railway tender submissions. The candidate should have practical experience using Indian Railways E-Procurement System (IREPS), Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Central Public Procurement Portal (CPP Portal), and other electronic procurement platforms.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and evaluate tenders on platforms including IREPS, GeM, CPP Portal, and state government e-procurement sites.
• Thoroughly assess tender documents, focusing on eligibility, technical requirements, commercial terms, and contract clauses.
• Prepare and dispatch technical and financial bids timely according to tender deadlines.
• Compile compliance matrices, technical documentation, necessary declarations, BOQs, and supportive documents accurately.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and senior management for bid development.
• Manage tender-related financial instruments such as Earnest Money Deposits, fees, performance bonds, and electronic bank guarantees.
• Monitor tender amendments, bid statuses, requests for clarification, reverse auctions, and award announcements.
• Engage with clients during pre-bid meetings and for answering technical inquiries.
• Maintain an organized repository of all tenders, bids, and contract documents.
• Assist in post-award activities including purchase order analysis and contract implementation.
• Ensure all tender activities comply with company policies and stipulated tender requirements.

Required Expertise

• Proficient in using e-tendering platforms such as IREPS, GeM, and CPP Portal.
• Good knowledge of Indian Railways procurement processes and government tender protocols.
• Capability to analyze technical drawings, specifications, and commercial conditions.
• Excellent skills in drafting and preparing compliance documentation.
• Strong command over Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Effective analytical ability, organizational aptitude, and time management.
• Good communication skills with proven ability to coordinate across different departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or similar fields.
• Experience working in Railway, Electronics, Electrical, IoT, manufacturing, or industrial automation sectors.
• Familiarity with RDSO standards, Railway vendor registration, and procurement procedures is advantageous.
