Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Tender Expert to join our team at the Patna, Bihar office. The candidate will bring profound understanding of governmental procurement procedures and practical experience in various tender portals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and track tenders, RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and empanelment opportunities from central/state government departments, PSUs, autonomous institutions, and other organizations.
  • Operate extensively on prominent tender platforms including Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), State e-Procurement Portals, NIC Tender Portals, and other relevant departmental and institutional procurement sites.
  • Analyze tender documents for eligibility standards, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
  • Prepare and submit thorough technical and financial bids within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assemble necessary documentation, pricing strategies, compliance verification, credentials, presentations, and annexures.
  • Manage bid participation processes such as reverse auctions, clarifications, corrigenda, and post-bid communications.
  • Maintain organized databases of tenders, bid submissions, EMDs, BGs, contracts, and related documents.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor tender progress and pursue evaluation updates, award announcements, and issuance of work orders.
  • Generate MIS reports and provide regular updates to leadership regarding current and forthcoming tender opportunities.

Requirements and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience managing government tenders and e-procurement activities.
  • Proficient use of GeM, CPPP, and several state tender portals.
  • Knowledge of bid preparation, vendor registration procedures, DSC administration, EMD/BG processes, and contract documentation requirements.
  • Strong skills in drafting, document management, and analytical interpretation of tender clauses and eligibility norms.
  • Competent in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital procurement platforms.
  • Preferred experience ranges from 2 to 6 years in government tender and bid management.
