Role Overview
This position is for a telesales professional who will connect with prospective customers, understand what they are looking for, and guide them through the buying journey in a consultative, customer-friendly way. The role focuses on relationship-led selling, careful follow-up, and closing sales while following company standards.
Customer Engagement and Discovery
You will speak with prospects, welcome them professionally, and explore their requirements, preferences, and budget range. The approach is expected to be helpful and advisory rather than pushy.
Product and Service Presentation
The job involves explaining product or service features, advantages, and pricing in a clear manner. Presentations should be adapted to each customer's needs, and where relevant, this may include demos, tours, or guided presentations.
Lead Handling and Follow-Up
You will respond to incoming enquiries from calls, emails, walk-ins, and digital leads. Leads need to be tracked in CRM tools, and regular follow-up is important to keep prospects engaged and moving toward a decision.
Sales Cycle Support
The role includes assisting customers throughout the full sales process, resolving objections professionally, and helping with applications, agreements, or other paperwork needed to complete the sale.
Relationship Management
You are expected to build trust, maintain a customer-first attitude, and support long-term business by encouraging referrals and repeat customers.
Closing and Negotiation
The role requires presenting offers or promotions, negotiating within company-approved limits, and securing final commitments so sales can be completed successfully.
Teamwork and Performance Tracking
You will coordinate with marketing, operations, and management teams, share reports and forecasts, and work toward sales targets and performance KPIs.
Compliance and Conduct
All sales activity must follow company policies and applicable regulations. Confidential information must be handled carefully, and ethical standards are expected at all times.
Skills Needed
Strong communication, active listening, customer empathy, persuasion, negotiation, organization, basic computer usage, and CRM handling are important for success in this role.
