Telemetry Operational Delivery Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Operational Delivery Technician to join a leading organisation responsible for providing sustainable water services across Ireland. This permanent position, based in Dublin with hybrid working (two days in office), offers an annual salary between €50,223 and €62,500. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the National Telemetry System (NTS) to ensure ongoing operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of ServiceNow tickets — from logging issues, monitoring progress, resolving or escalating problems, to closing tickets with thorough documentation.
• Deliver first-level support and troubleshooting assistance to users across the organisation to maintain smooth system operations.
• Manage changes to system configurations and graphical mimics effectively to support operational needs.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of operational procedures to aid team knowledge sharing and training continuity.
• Champion health and safety initiatives within the organisation and supply chain, fostering positive safety behaviours.
• Collaborate closely with the IT/OT teams on system updates, patches, security concerns, and other technical issues affecting the NTS.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in IT support, business support, or comparable technical roles is required.
• Excellent communication capabilities to interact efficiently across teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a structured troubleshooting mindset.
• Previous exposure to ServiceNow is highly advantageous.
