About the Role
Are you someone in the developer ecosystem who consistently shares insightful commentary on topics like API design, not out of obligation but passion? At Hackmamba, we want you to channel that enthusiasm professionally. We create growth and authentic technical content for leading developer tool companies, helping their products connect meaningfully with engineers. Social media plays a vital role in this mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and cultivate the social media presence of Hackmamba's developer tool clients, primarily on LinkedIn and X platforms.
- Craft engaging posts that developers find genuinely interesting and are motivated to interact with, emphasizing quality over mere reach optimization.
- Create thought leadership content that positions clients as authoritative voices in the developer community.
- Develop technical commentaries that incite meaningful conversations without resorting to provocative hot takes.
- Produce community-focused content such as threads, thoughtful replies, and reshares that genuinely contribute to ongoing discussions.
- Design campaign-related materials aligned with product launches, events, and announcements.
- Stay alert to trends moving through the developer community and react promptly to them.
- Collaborate closely with technical writers, content strategists, and client teams to ensure content is both contextually informed and product-aware.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a strong understanding of developer mindsets, tooling, industry debates, and real-world projects, even if you haven't shipped production code yourself.
- Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn or X, demonstrating writing ability and engagement rather than follower count.
- Show extroverted online behavior by initiating conversations, responding thoughtfully, and engaging authentically beyond scheduled content requirements.
- Write clear, compelling posts that capture attention and encourage meaningful interaction, distinguishing between informative and widely shared content.
- Manage distinct brand voices effectively across multiple clients, adapting to varying developer tools and technical SaaS products.
- Reside in Europe or the United States and are comfortable working fully remotely.
