Its software stack brings together a user-friendly command and control interface, a domain-specific language for hardware control, and a fast runtime designed to help engineers build, validate, and launch critical systems with speed, reliability, and safety.
Role Overview
Revel is hiring a Technical Recruiter who can balance strategy with day-to-day execution to support the company’s expansion. You will run the recruiting process end to end, from identifying candidates and screening them to interviewing, closing offers, and supporting onboarding.
This position offers the chance to join an early-stage, venture-backed startup where your work will influence the team, culture, and overall talent function. You will work closely with engineering and leadership to bring in exceptional people who are helping redefine how complex hardware systems are controlled.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership to shape hiring plans, headcount needs, and interview structures across different teams.
- Handle the complete recruiting workflow, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer discussions, and onboarding, while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
- Administer the applicant tracking system and recruiting platforms to keep pipelines and openings current.
- Monitor and share recruiting metrics that show pipeline quality and hiring momentum.
- Create inventive sourcing approaches to reach strong technical candidates, including participation in industry events, meetups, and university initiatives.
- Build and run internship and early-career hiring efforts, while developing connections with universities and technical groups.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to improve job descriptions and interview steps so they are clear, inclusive, and aligned with business goals.
- Strengthen the candidate experience and employer brand through careful communication and outreach.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience recruiting technical talent, ideally in high-growth software or hardware startups.
- A demonstrated history of sourcing and hiring for engineering, product, or other technical positions.
- Solid knowledge of technical skill sets and effective recruiting practices for software engineering and related roles.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to interact with company leaders and represent Revel to candidates.
- Experience using recruiting systems and tools such as ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and scheduling software.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently while staying closely connected with leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in high-growth software or hardware startups.
- Experience hiring for software, embedded systems, hardware-software integration, or control systems engineering roles.
- Familiarity with Ashby ATS.
- Experience working in startup hiring environments.
- Comfort reviewing, analyzing, and reporting recruiting data.
- Ability to separate top-tier talent from average candidates within a given field.
- Background in hosting or speaking at recruiting, networking, or university outreach events.
- Interest in technology, engineering, and building teams that expand what is possible.
ITAR Requirement
To comply with U.S. government export regulations, applicants must be one of the following: a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), a refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or an asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. Applicants may also be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
