Role Overview
This Technical Project Manager position is part of the Business Systems team, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to develop, refine, and organize tickets for a Salesforce-centered technology stack while expanding AI-driven enhancements throughout the organization. The role combines project management with product-oriented strategic thinking, requiring quick comprehension of diverse business applications, conversion of stakeholder requirements into clear technical deliverables for developers, and leadership in AI application for impactful business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, refine, and maintain technical tickets and backlog items for Business Systems Admins and Developers that are precise and actionable without excess clarification needed.
- Identify and implement AI-based tools and workflows to address business challenges and foster broader AI adoption within the organization; practical AI experience is essential.
- Manage cross-departmental communication by gathering, evaluating, and prioritizing requests, ensuring clear translation of business needs into technical tasks, and facilitating effective exchanges between developers and business admins.
- Own the strategic roadmap and daily project workflow for Business Systems initiatives, aligning short-term execution with longer-term product goals.
- Rapidly learn and understand a wide range of software platforms beyond Salesforce to recognize integration and AI application opportunities and pose relevant technical inquiries.
- Engage in agile ceremonies such as standups, grooming sessions, and retrospectives to maintain transparency and momentum in project execution.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in managing technical projects or product backlogs, preferably within IT, systems, or business application settings.
- Strong aptitude for understanding interconnections of software platforms and APIs, enabling quick system learning without necessarily coding.
- Hands-on usage of AI solutions like Claude, Gemini, or Slackbot to resolve practical business issues.
- Excellent skills in translating complex business requirements into organized technical specifications for development teams.
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management, balancing priorities across business units and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge or direct involvement with Salesforce and its third-party integrations.
- Experience managing and automating enterprise workflows using tools such as Slackbot, Claude, Clay, Rovo, or Gemini.
- Proficiency in writing technical tickets for software development.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, and related tools such as Jira.
