Team Leader - Warehousing

Role Summary

DP World is hiring a Team Leader for warehouse operations in Dubai. The role focuses on keeping day-to-day storage, movement, and dispatch activities running smoothly while maintaining safety, accuracy, and team performance.

Key Duties

• Supervise the daily flow of warehouse work, covering receiving, put-away, storage, and outbound shipping.
• Guide, support, and coach warehouse associates so they consistently follow operating methods and safety rules.
• Keep track of inventory movement and work with the Warehouse Supervisor on replenishment needs.
• Run regular training for the team on warehouse procedures, safe practices, and equipment handling.
• Use the LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to monitor stock and process order fulfilment.
• Train team members to use RF scanners for inventory control and picking activities.
• Maintain strong stock control practices, including accurate daily reconciliation of inbound and outbound records.
• Review operational results and identify practical improvements to raise performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and delivered accurately and on time.
• Keep the warehouse compliant with safety requirements and organized to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Help create and roll out standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee routine upkeep and condition of warehouse equipment.
• Carry out performance reviews and provide clear, constructive feedback to staff.
• Address employee concerns and workplace conflicts professionally and promptly.
• Prepare management reports covering warehouse performance, stock levels, and operational issues.
