Role Overview
This position is for an experienced contracts professional who can lead the drafting, negotiation, and administration of agreements across the business. The role focuses on ensuring contracts are legally robust, commercially aligned, and structured to reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of contract creation, review, negotiation, and ongoing management, while partnering with internal teams and supporting dispute handling when required.
- Prepare, examine, and negotiate multiple contract types, such as vendor, service, procurement, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Make sure contractual terms match company policies and applicable legal standards.
- Spot possible contractual risks and recommend practical ways to reduce them.
- Track compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies across all agreements.
- Keep complete and accurate records of contracts and related communication.
- Monitor contract execution, renewals, and amendments so actions are taken on time.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to collect inputs and approvals.
- Act as the main contact for contract-related questions and concerns.
- Create and improve standard templates and contract processes for the organization.
- Train internal teams on contract management procedures and best practices.
- Support resolution of contractual disputes and work with legal counsel where needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate has prior experience in contract management, legal administration, or a similar function, with strong knowledge of contract law and sound judgment in negotiation.
- Certification in contract management, such as CPCM, is preferred.
- Background in sector-specific agreements, particularly construction-related contracts, is an advantage.
- Understanding of international contract law for global business operations is useful.
- Proven track record in contract management, legal administration, or a closely related role.
- Strong grasp of contract law and core contractual principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Comfort using contract management systems and related tools.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
- Ability to handle several contracts and deadlines at the same time.

This opportunity is open to candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. in Civil Engineering.
