Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000, based on experience
Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance effective the first of the month following employment start

Role Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be critical in expanding our workforce by sourcing and hiring exceptional candidates across multiple departments including retail, operations, cultivation, production, and corporate functions. This role involves managing the recruitment cycle end-to-end while ensuring a welcoming candidate experience. Candidates who excel in this position are engaging, resourceful, and thrive in dynamic, fast-growing industries.

Key Responsibilities

Create and post job advertisements and source potential candidates through diverse channels like job boards, social networks, and professional networks, customizing approaches for different areas of the business
Handle all phases of recruitment including screening resumes, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and extending job offers
Maintain and update candidate databases and pipelines, including high-volume retail and production roles as well as specialized talent pools for cultivation and corporate positions
Develop recruitment content, including job descriptions tailored to specific business segments
Conduct recruitment training sessions for hiring managers and interviewing teams across departments
Ensure hiring practices comply with applicable state and federal employment laws
Deliver positive interactions to candidates and foster relationships with prospective employees from frontline to executive levels
Advance employer branding via effective job postings, social media recruitment campaigns, and candidate engagement events
Monitor recruitment metrics and generate reports for HR leadership highlighting trends and data across various business units
Continuously refine recruitment strategies and processes to align with the evolving needs of a multi-faceted organization

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of three years' experience in recruitment, preferably within retail or hospitality sectors; cannabis industry experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated expertise in managing full recruitment lifecycles
Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
Capable of working autonomously and juggling various priorities in a fast-paced setting
Proficient with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
