Support Worker Opportunities
OneCare 24-7 is seeking compassionate support workers for various roles across Greater Sydney regions, including South Sydney, South Eastern Sydney, and North Sydney. These opportunities range from casual to permanent positions, assisting diverse client needs such as young families, aged care, domestic duties, and personal care involving mechanical lifter and catheter care. Several roles require culturally specific care including Portuguese and Greek speaking support workers.
Job Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks and daily living activities.
- Provide general household and domestic assistance.
- Support clients with community access and social engagement.
- Offer medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Deliver companionship and emotional encouragement.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold a valid Australian driver's license and have an insured vehicle for client transport.
- Possess a current First Aid Certificate.
- Current or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Federal Police/National Police Check.
- Previous experience in similar support roles is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate natural caregiving abilities paired with a culturally sensitive and trustworthy approach.
