Supply Chain Manager

About the Role

We are collaborating with a reputable global chemical company to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to oversee its operations across the Asia Pacific region (excluding China). This position is responsible for leading all facets of the supply chain, including order fulfillment, sourcing, demand planning, inventory control, third-party logistics, toll manufacturing, and SAP master data administration. The role is pivotal in assuring supply stability, optimizing inventory levels, and promoting operational excellence throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire supply chain processes across the APAC region.
• Direct the regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities, encompassing demand forecasting and performance reporting.
• Supervise inventory planning and maintain appropriate stock levels to avoid surplus and obsolete stock.
• Manage partnerships with third-party logistics providers, warehouses, toll manufacturers, suppliers, and freight service providers.
• Uphold and maintain SAP master data to facilitate efficient planning and execution.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments such as Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory, and Customs to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end supply chain activities in regional or multinational contexts.
• Strong knowledge and skills in demand planning, inventory control, sourcing strategies, logistics, and S&OP processes.
• Practical expertise using SAP ERP systems.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, analytical capabilities, and communication skills.
• Experience in chemical, manufacturing, industrial, or similar industries is highly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
