Supply Chain Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Executive to manage the complete dispatch, delivery, and purchase order (PO) operations for our scaling business in quick-commerce, marketplaces, and B2B/trade distribution sectors. The position is based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, and requires onsite presence with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and release daily orders for B2B, quick-commerce, and marketplace channels, ensuring all are processed and dispatched ahead of channel cut-offs.
• Conduct thorough pre-shipment inspections including SKU, blend, grammage, quantity, batch, and destination accuracy at the dock.
• Strategically route orders to appropriate lanes such as dark stores, fulfillment centers, or distributors, adhering to cut-offs, appointment windows, and delivery service level agreements (SLAs).
• Handle exceptions swiftly including short-shipments, damages, return to origin items, rejected inward stock, and appointment failures to maintain dispatch flow.
• Operate and enhance the PO management system across inbound and outbound orders, incorporating CSV data ingestion for platforms like Blinkit and Zepto, ensuring seamless integration between PO, dispatch, and delivery stages.
• Select, onboard, and evaluate third-party logistics (3PL) and last-mile delivery partners, negotiating freight and per-order rates to keep landed cost within budget while scaling volume.
• Collaborate with production teams across facilities to align dispatch schedules and stock positioning with demand, escalating challenges proactively with proposed solutions.
• Maintain and improve logistics procedures and standard operating protocols, monitor on-time in full (OTIF), turnaround time (TAT), and fill rates using live dashboards, and prepare weekly performance reports for founders.
• Drive continuous improvements by reducing cost-per-order through freight consolidation, optimizing routing, vendor adjustments, and workflow redesign to support volume growth of two to three times with stable headcount.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven expertise managing end-to-end dispatch and fulfillment processes within quick-commerce, marketplaces, and trade environments, including PO processing and CSV ingestion for platforms such as Blinkit and Zepto.
• Experience negotiating freight and last-mile rates along with managing landed cost-per-order efficiently.
• Competence in PO management systems, including operation, reconciliation, and process enhancements.
• Familiarity with Indian supply chain operations, 3PL market dynamics, and dispatch documentation, such as invoicing, e-way bills, appointment scheduling, and receipt protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with numerical reconciliation and documentation accuracy while maintaining composure during high-pressure dispatch scenarios.
• System-oriented mindset with ownership across the entire delivery flow from dock to customer, ensuring no operational gaps.
• Effective negotiation skills with a commitment to cost control and scaling operational capabilities rather than merely maintaining status quo.

Salary: INR 25,000 to 45,000 per month
