Strategy & Corporate Excellence Director

About the Role

Mina Excellence is looking for an experienced Strategy & Corporate Excellence Director to spearhead the formulation and implementation of the Group's strategic agenda. This leadership role focuses on ensuring alignment between the Board’s vision and the execution of operations across multiple business entities. The Director will be key in driving strategic planning, corporate governance, performance management, and excellence initiatives, translating organizational priorities into clear, measurable results.

Reporting directly to the Board Chairman, the successful candidate will act as a strategic consultant to senior executives, promoting organizational alignment, responsibility, and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Group's strategic planning cycles and oversee corporate strategy execution.
• Ensure strategic alignment across all entities by cascading objectives, KPIs, and key performance indicators effectively.
• Drive corporate performance management through periodic operational and strategic evaluations.
• Supervise governance and execution of strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
• Champion corporate excellence efforts including EFQM, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
• Implement strong corporate governance policies and provide support to Board committees.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and the Chairman to align strategic priorities with business outcomes.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team within Strategy and Corporate Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• 10 to 15 years’ relevant experience in Strategy, Corporate Development, or Management Consulting.
• Minimum 3 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in directing strategy development, corporate performance, and organizational change.
• Experience with multi-entity corporations, holding companies, or large conglomerates is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of Balanced Scorecards, EFQM, project governance, and corporate governance frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalents are advantageous.
