Role Summary

This newly created position will build and lead the financial modelling and analytics capability within PointClickCare’s strategic finance function. The role will provide models, tools, and decision support that help leaders improve profitability, sharpen commercial strategy, and allocate resources accurately. The work will be highly visible to executive leadership, the Board, and investors.

The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, and Go-to-Market. The immediate focus is pricing and monetization analytics, while the longer-term remit is to develop scalable analytical frameworks that can be used across any strategic finance area the business prioritizes. A key part of the job is using AI and machine learning to modernize modelling, scenario creation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal financial and profitability models that assess how strategic decisions affect revenue and margin, starting with pricing and commercial strategy and later extending into other strategic finance areas.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis for packaging choices, pricing shifts, go-to-market strategies, and investment trade-offs, using metrics such as NRR, ARR, and contribution margin.
  • Use AI and machine learning tools, including large language models and predictive modelling, to speed up and improve modelling, scenario generation, and reporting.
  • Create scalable self-serve analytics tools that give Finance, Pricing, Sales Ops, and business leaders reliable, decision-ready information.
  • Analyze pricing changes quantitatively across customer segments and geographies to understand impacts on revenue, customer behavior, and margins.
  • Monitor pricing and monetization KPIs such as discount compliance, revenue realization, and contribution margin, and measure them against targets.
  • Assess the financial impact of commercial governance decisions, including pricing policies, discount structures, and packaging design.
  • Produce recurring profitability and commercial performance reporting for executive and GTM leadership, including frameworks that track initiative effectiveness, monetization outcomes, and contribution margin across products, segments, and geographies.
  • Work with FP&A and Sales Ops to embed pricing and profitability analytics into forecasting and planning, and partner with Revenue Assurance and Finance Ops to address pricing-related revenue risks.
  • Serve as the main analytical partner to Pricing, Sales Enablement, and business unit leaders on profitability-related decisions.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations and present models, findings, and insights in executive-ready formats.
  • Support Board and investor materials covering pricing strategy, monetization performance, and platform progress.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or strategic/quantitative finance within SaaS or technology environments.
  • Strong financial modelling and scenario-analysis capability, with proven experience building revenue, profitability, or pricing models and turning them into practical decision support.
  • Direct experience using AI/ML tools, including LLMs and predictive modelling, to improve modelling and reporting workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to pricing or monetization work.
  • Experience with BI platforms, especially Power BI, and with executive-level data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, including Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA).

Benefits and Perks

  • Benefits available from day one.
  • Retirement plan matching.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Wellness support programs and resources.
  • Parental and caregiver leave.
  • Fertility and adoption support.
  • Continuous development support program.
  • Employee assistance program.
  • Allyship and inclusion communities.
  • Employee recognition.
  • And additional offerings.
