Role Overview

The Store Manager will be responsible for the complete functioning of the cafe/store, ensuring strong daily operations, team performance, customer satisfaction, and financial discipline. This role requires hands-on leadership across sales, staffing, compliance, inventory, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day store activities so operations run efficiently and consistently.
  • Work toward sales, productivity, and profitability goals for the outlet.
  • Guide, support, and develop team members to build a high-performing store crew.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure service standards remain excellent.
  • Create staff schedules, manage manpower allocation, and track attendance.
  • Make sure SOPs are followed, including food safety, quality checks, cash procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Track stock movement, keep wastage under control, and maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Manage cash accuracy, billing processes, and end-of-day store reports.
  • Hire, induct, train, and continually develop team members.
  • Keep the cafe clean, equipment in good condition, and the store presentation up to standard.
  • Evaluate outlet performance, identify gaps, and put corrective plans into action.
  • Work closely with HR, Operations, Finance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to support smooth store functioning.

  • Must be comfortable working toward sales and operational targets.
  • Should be proficient in MS Excel and POS systems.
  • Must be open to rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Should be able to perform under pressure and make quick operational decisions.
  • Needs a positive approach with strong ownership and accountability.
