Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role located in Adoor, Kerala, entails managing comprehensive store operations. The Store Manager will lead daily activities including staff oversight, workforce scheduling, enforcing company standards, managing merchandising and visual presentation, controlling inventory levels, and collaborating with teams to maintain stock and product variety. A critical aspect includes providing excellent customer service, addressing customer issues promptly, and accelerating sales to achieve business targets. Additional duties include implementing strategies to prevent retail shrinkage, evaluating store performance with reports, and facilitating staff training and development.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Customer-centric approach focused on satisfaction and relationship building.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, lead store teams, and engage internal departments.
- Proven experience in retail store management, including team supervision, sales tracking, and merchandising execution.
- Knowledge and application of retail loss prevention tactics to protect assets and reduce shrinkage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals, analyzing performance data, and developing improvement strategies.
- Strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in fast-paced retail settings.
- Preferred experience in fashion or lifestyle retail with prior leadership roles in retail stores.
- Educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related fields is advantageous; equivalent professional experience also accepted.
