Role summary
This Steward position is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The role supports smooth front-of-house and back-of-house operations by keeping the dining area orderly, helping with food and beverage service, and assisting the kitchen with routine preparation and cleaning work. The role also requires readiness to work during busy service windows and event periods.
Key duties
- Arrange tables before service and clear them efficiently after guests finish.
- Support the service team by helping deliver food and beverages as needed.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and general cleanup.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the dining and kitchen spaces.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and related service equipment carefully.
- Track and help manage stock of service items and dining essentials.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and service procedures consistently.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate should be guest-friendly, able to communicate clearly with both service and kitchen teams, and comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment. A working understanding of food and beverage service, table setting, clearing, and dishwashing is expected. Prior exposure to restaurant or hospitality work is useful, but candidates with basic education who can follow instructions and are willing to learn through training may also be considered.
Work expectations
This position calls for physical stamina, including the ability to remain on your feet for long stretches, handle light to moderate lifting, and stay effective in a fast-moving setting. Flexibility is important, especially during peak service hours and events.
