Steward

Role Overview

The Steward plays a vital supporting role across various hotel departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. This position involves maintaining cleanliness, handling and preparing fresh linens and dishware for guest use, and operating cleaning equipment such as dishwashers and laundry machines. Duties also include transporting dishware and linens throughout the hotel to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and quality standards.
• Maintain professional personal appearance, communication, and uniform standards.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with colleagues and assist teams in achieving common objectives.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds without help and maintain the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended durations.
• Execute additional reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• No formal education requirements, including high school diploma or GED.
• No previous related work or supervisory experience necessary.
• No licenses or certifications required.
