Sports / Physical Training Teacher

About the Role

St. Joseph International School for Excellence is looking for a dynamic and committed Sports Teacher to join its physical education team. The position demands enthusiasm and dedication in promoting fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students within a residential school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured physical education lessons and coaching programs suitable for various student grade levels.
• Lead organization of internal competitions, annual sports events, and prepare teams for participation in inter-school and regional tournaments.
• Identify and cultivate sports talents by teaching fundamental techniques, rules, and game strategies in disciplines such as football, basketball, cricket, and athletics.
• Maintain sports equipment and facilities, keep inventories updated, and ensure adherence to safety protocols during sports activities.
• Participate actively in residential school life by managing sports activities in the evenings and supervising student welfare on campus.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed) or a related discipline is required.
• Prior proven experience in coaching and organizing sports events at school or club levels.

• Expertise coaching in multiple major sports disciplines.
