About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your STEM, particularly engineering, background by transitioning into a career as an FBI Special Agent. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute investigations involving potential breaches of federal laws, particularly related to cybersecurity and public safety.
- Utilize sound judgment, creativity, and flexibility to fulfill investigative requirements effectively.
- Build and sustain productive partnerships with diverse law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of law enforcement duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
- Willingness and availability to travel as necessary for the role.
- Meet all FBI Employment Eligibility standards.
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution is required; degrees in engineering or closely related fields are preferred.
- Submission of official college transcripts is required to verify educational qualifications.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a salary range from $93,749 to $133,200, depending on base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
