Role summary
The Canberra clinics are looking for a Sonographer to join the team. The employer can work with a start date that suits the selected candidate. This role may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis and reports to the site Chief Imaging Technologists.
Work location and schedule
You will be based across clinics in Belconnen, Deakin, Woden and Tuggeranong as needed. Workdays are Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Travel between sites is required, with the longest drive between any two clinics taking about 25 minutes.
Key duties
The position involves delivering high-quality ultrasound services across a broad mix of cases, working closely with other sonographers to compare studies and share worklists, and assisting radiologists during interventional procedures.
Candidate profile
The team is seeking a registered sonographer with current ASAR registration and practical experience across MSK, obstetrics, general, breast, DVT and carotid imaging. You should be comfortable moving between multiple clinics and working with different ultrasound systems, including Canon and Philips equipment.
