Job Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to handle the installation and maintenance of rooftop solar photovoltaic systems for both residential and commercial clients. The role involves assembling and mounting solar panels and their supporting structures, performing DC and AC wiring following safety norms, and installing related equipment such as inverters, batteries, earthing systems, and lightning protection. The technician will also be responsible for testing, commissioning, troubleshooting solar systems, and attending service and preventive maintenance visits. A close coordination with the project engineer is essential to ensure timely completion of projects. Additionally, accurate reporting through installation documentation, customer sign-offs, and site photography is required. Adhering to company quality and safety guidelines during all project activities is mandatory.
Candidate Eligibility
- Completed ITI in Electrician or Wireman trade
- Diploma holder in Electrical or Electronics engineering
- Relevant prior experience in solar installation work
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are also welcome to apply
Necessary Skills
- Fundamental understanding of electrical wiring
- Proficient in use of electrical hand tools
- Comfortable working at heights on rooftops and traveling to project locations
- Good teamwork skills and a proactive mindset
- Basic capability with smartphones for photography and WhatsApp-based reporting
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license is advantageous

- Monthly salary ranging from ₹13,000 to ₹15,000

Work Schedule and Joining
