Job Overview

Enervia Innovations (OPC) Private Limited seeks a motivated and self-reliant Solar Operations and Net Metering Executive to independently oversee the operational processes of rooftop solar projects starting from installation completion through commissioning. The role demands comprehensive knowledge of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, net metering workflows, engaging with governmental authorities, and managing vendor coordination to ensure projects meet their timelines efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire operational flow of rooftop solar projects independently from installation to commissioning.
• Complete all documentation and application procedures related to the PM Surya Ghar Portal within established timeframes.
• Coordinate applications, inspections, approvals, and commissioning processes for net metering.
• Serve as liaison between MPEB/DISCOM officials and other government departments to secure timely approvals and resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits as necessary for inspection, meter-related issues, documentation, commissioning, and operational assistance.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure projects proceed smoothly and meet deadlines.
• Engage suppliers through timely follow-ups on material procurement, dispatches, shortages, replacements, warranties, and ensure materials reach customer sites promptly.
• Monitor project progress closely, ensuring activities adhere to stipulated schedules and management is kept informed of updates and pending concerns.
• Address operational challenges through effective coordination among customers, installation teams, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Maintain organized project documentation and records in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and all relevant governmental guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of rooftop solar project execution processes.
• Hands-on familiarity with PM Surya Ghar Portal and associated state portals, alongside net metering procedures.
• Capability to coordinate and follow up with government departments and external agencies effectively.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills for consistent stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in maintaining documentation, records, and project tracking.
• Problem-solving aptitude coupled with ownership and accountability for assigned projects.
• Comfort and readiness to perform frequent site visits.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, email communication, and use of online portals.

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility

Applicants should hold a Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields. Candidates with hands-on experience in rooftop solar project operations, DISCOM coordination, or project execution will be preferred. However, fresh graduates with solid understanding of solar project procedures and an eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

• Possession of a two-wheeler along with a valid driving licence is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel within the city and adjacent areas for official duties is expected.

Reporting and Compensation

The selected candidate will report directly to the Founder & Director. Remuneration will correspond with the candidate’s experience and the company’s standards.
