Job Overview

As a Software Intern at GE Precision Healthcare LLC, you will actively contribute to developing and enhancing advanced healthcare software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Support designing, developing, and testing software components for healthcare applications.
• Engage in code reviews to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Identify and resolve software defects through effective debugging techniques.
• Create documentation for software designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams such as product management and quality assurance to ensure successful project execution.
• Investigate and assess emerging technologies and tools to optimize development workflows.
• Participate fully in the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Solid grasp of core programming principles and data structure concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as C++, Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
