Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum standards.
• Provide instruction in history, geography, political science, and economics.
• Promote active student engagement through discussions, interactive activities, and project work.
• Evaluate and monitor student performance via assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
• Create and maintain an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Maintain accurate records on student attendance, progress, and grading.
• Engage in communication with parents and school leadership concerning student development.
• Utilize multimedia and digital resources to enrich the teaching experience.
• Keep abreast of current affairs and integrate relevant topics into classroom instruction.
• Participate in school events, professional workshops, and staff meetings as required.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Geography, or a closely related discipline.
• Possession of a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Social Studies teacher or a similar instructional role.
• Strong skills in classroom management and effective communication.
• A passion for education and ability to engage students across various age groups.
• Familiarity with curriculum frameworks of Indian education boards such as CBSE, ICSE, or State Boards.
