Role Overview
The Social Media Executive plays a key role in crafting and curating the visual and written elements of a brand's social media footprint. This position requires close cooperation with clients to ensure content resonates with their identity and marketing objectives, prioritizing collaborative effort and creative storytelling for online platforms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Create engaging and inventive social media materials such as copy, images, videos, and graphic designs, strictly following brand standards and tone.
- Stay informed on contemporary industry trends to enhance content relevance and effectiveness.
- Administer multiple social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring scheduled and timely posts.
- Engage actively with followers by addressing comments, messages, and mentions to nurture audience relationships and resolve queries.
- Develop and apply tactics to expand social media following and encourage interactions like shares and likes.
- Build community engagement by collaborating with influential figures and advocates of the brand.
- Utilize social media analytics to monitor trends, measure success, and identify areas for growth.
- Design and manage paid promotional campaigns on social media with a focus on increasing brand reach and conversions, optimizing budget and performance.
- Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery, and generate comprehensive reports on key performance indicators for management review.
- Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, design, and content to synchronize social media strategy with broader marketing efforts.
- Address negative feedback or social media crises in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep up-to-date with evolving social media platforms, algorithms, and new functionalities to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies during all social media activities.
- Support budget tracking and optimize allocations related to social media operations.
Qualifications
- Between 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in social media or related fields.
- Holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability in social media management and content development.
- In-depth understanding of diverse social media platforms and associated best practices.
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative mindset combined with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Capability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work settings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
