Role overview
Moxie Labs is seeking a highly creative, analytical, and output-driven Social Media & Content Specialist. This person will support digital marketing and digital product teams by shaping strong brand stories across multiple channels. The role calls for someone who is proactive, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to create compelling stories in written, visual, graphic, and video formats.
The ideal candidate is deeply engaged with social media and has a strong focus on producing short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. They should have a strong visual sense and the ability to create attention-grabbing multimedia assets, including short videos, graphics, and layout-based content. Experience with longer-form writing is also valuable, especially for blogs, articles, and detailed marketing copy. The role also requires familiarity with content distribution processes, including social scheduling platforms and blog CMS tools, to keep production organized and on schedule.
Because this position involves balancing multiple client calendars and shifting priorities, the candidate must bring excellent project management, planning, and time-management abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead organic social strategy and day-to-day execution for multiple client accounts, owning content quality, posting cadence, and performance outcomes.
- Create, edit, and publish content for blogs, whitepapers, social channels, and marketing assets, adapting between highly regulated client work and more creative brand-led content for Moxie Labs’ own channels.
- Maintain production workflows in blog CMS platforms such as WordPress and HubSpot, ensuring schedules and approvals stay coordinated.
- Develop and manage campaign calendars through social scheduling tools, with Hootsuite as a required tool in the workflow.
- Prepare basic performance reports for organic social, using monthly platform-native reporting tools such as Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Analytics, as well as GA4 traffic data, to measure reach and engagement against KPIs.
- Handle compliance-based review and approval processes for regulated content so that all published material follows industry, legal, and brand standards.
- Work closely with digital marketing and product teams to define content KPIs and monitor organic engagement.
- Communicate directly with clients and partners to align messaging, tone, and strategic objectives.
- Keep up with social media trends, algorithm changes, and new content distribution tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, content writing, or copywriting, including direct responsibility for a brand’s or client’s organic social channels.
- Strong ability to use modern content creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Express, plus basic graphic design or short-form video editing skills to produce polished assets efficiently.
- Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for planning, ideation, and first-draft creation while maintaining brand voice and quality.
- Experience in a regulated or high-compliance environment such as pharma, healthcare, or financial services is preferred; familiarity with HIPAA and GDPR is strongly preferred.
- A portfolio that shows both compliance-reviewed content and more open creative work, with examples across short-form social content and longer blog or article writing.
- Practical experience with social scheduling software, especially Hootsuite, and familiarity with blog CMS platforms.
- Working knowledge of GA4 or similar analytics tools, along with the ability to build and present basic reports.
- Experience supporting social and digital marketing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and similar emerging platforms.
- Ability to move between tightly controlled, compliance-first work and open-ended creative content for internal or less-regulated brands.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a full-time workload and changing priorities independently.
- Very high standards for accuracy, grammar, and detail.
- Comfort working in Google Workspace tools such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive for collaborative workflows.
Preferred experience
- Background in paid social campaign setup and optimization.
- Experience in an agency environment managing several client brands at once.
