Campus Enterprises is the retail and hospitality division of NC State University, overseeing multiple departments including NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, Student Centers, and the One Card Office. These departments aim to enhance the student experience by providing excellent service, value, and support for academic achievement.

Role Purpose

This position engages student content creators and models to collaborate with marketing teams in planning and managing social media content for the bookstore, dining, and student centers.

Compensation and Work Schedule

This role offers hourly pay at $13.00, with opportunities for longevity-based increases based on service duration. It is federally work-study eligible, located at Talley Student Union, and requires availability for 5-10 hours weekly on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in two strategy sessions annually to develop social media calendars for various departments.
• Attend weekly 45-minute meetings to review progress and assign tasks.
• Capture and coordinate content creation, forwarding material to marketing personnel for scheduling and posting.
• Collaborate with managers by providing feedback on offerings such as apparel, food, and services.
• Assist with customer interaction, answer questions, and support tabling and special events as required.

Requirements

• Must be an enrolled student at NC State University with adaptable availability.
• Proven or demonstrated experience in social media and marketing, comfortable appearing on camera and engaging with others.
• Commit to attending mandatory orientations, staff meetings, and training sessions.
