Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Consultant to join our ServiceNow Platform team. Reporting directly to the ServiceNow Team Leader, you will play a key role in administrating the ServiceNow platform, driving improvement and remediation projects to maximize business value from the investment in ServiceNow. You will translate business and technical requirements into real-world designs and support technical governance and IT Service Management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, and maintain ServiceNow components—including modules, workflows, integrations, and automation—to meet defined business needs, improve operations, and leverage platform capabilities.
• Design and deploy ServiceNow integration and platform solutions focused on enhancing system reliability, availability, data integration, cybersecurity compliance, cost efficiency, and optimizing return on investment.
• Lead development cycles including deployment, releases, documentation, process adherence, operational reporting, continuous improvement, and best practice implementation; remediate platform customizations as required.
• Collaborate effectively with Architects, Support Teams, vendors, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process owners to gather requirements, enable self-service and automation, and ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps and plans.
• Provide documentation, training, mentoring, and guidance regarding ServiceNow capabilities; advocate for maturing low-code and no-code approaches and manage assigned tasks to balance workload effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses proven expertise as an ITSM Specialist with hands-on experience in ServiceNow Administration and a strong blend of business process analysis and technical skills to deliver customer-focused, maintainable, and low-code ServiceNow solutions within complex and customized environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities supporting the development of secure, scalable, repeatable solutions while working agilely and collaboratively during rapid prototyping phases.
• Experienced in platform administration, development, architectural design, IT Service Management operations, facilitating workshops, requirements gathering, process improvement, automation, orchestration, and cybersecurity, particularly in regulated and enterprise settings.
• Excellent planning, project coordination, documentation, communication, interpersonal skills; capable of mentoring, cross-training, managing critical issues, and consistently delivering on deadlines.
• Holds or willing to obtain relevant ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator preferred) and ITIL certifications; bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or equivalent experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

The role requires Australian citizenship with a minimum NV-1 level security clearance, with willingness and ability to upgrade to NV-2 clearance.
