Role Overview
This opening is for a ServiceNow Architect in a contract-to-hire arrangement. The assignment starts with Protiviti on payroll for an initial six-month period, after which there is a possibility of moving into a permanent position with RHI Magnesita based on performance.
Location
The role is based across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
Experience Profile
The ideal candidate should bring 12 to 18 years of total IT experience, including at least 8 years working directly on ServiceNow and 4 or more years in Solution Architect or Technical Architect positions.
Solution Architecture
- Create end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that fit business needs and align with enterprise architecture principles.
- Shape platform architecture, define technical direction, and establish best-practice standards.
- Own discovery sessions, requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation support.
- Build solutions with strong attention to scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
Platform Expertise
- Architect and deliver solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, ITBM/SPM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC/IRM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Portal, Employee Center, and workflow automation.
Integration and Automation
- Design connections between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, web services, and ETL tools.
- Implement automation and orchestration to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Technical Leadership
- Advise developers and administrators on architecture and technical direction.
- Evaluate technical designs, code quality, and platform configurations.
- Set development standards and governance practices for the platform.
- Coach project teams and ServiceNow consultants.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to align solutions with requirements.
- Convert business needs into practical technical designs.
- Communicate architecture proposals and solution roadmaps to executive audiences.
Governance and Compliance
- Promote adherence to ServiceNow standards and governance controls.
- Oversee instance health, upgrade planning, security compliance, and platform tuning.
- Run architecture reviews and risk evaluations.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and core platform capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspace.
- Solid scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and ACLs.
- Practical understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, middleware platforms, and cloud integrations with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) is preferred.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) is also valued.

This opportunity is being offered through Protiviti for RHI Magnesita. The position begins as a six-month contract with Protiviti on payroll, followed by a potential transition to a permanent role at RHI Magnesita depending on performance.
