About the role
Exam Bangla Publication is expanding its Kolkata office and is hiring a capable SEO professional to support the company’s growth in the competitive exam book publishing space. The role is based in College Street, Kolkata, and is intended for someone who can work in a structured, professional environment and contribute to the company’s next phase of growth.
The position is with Mentova Learning India Private Limited. Compensation is ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month depending on experience, along with a special target-based incentive of ₹1,000 subject to company satisfaction.
Relevant experience required for this role is 2 to 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Improve website traffic and organic visibility through both on-page and off-page SEO.
- Help website pages, posts, and products achieve stronger search rankings.
- Prepare search-optimized titles, meta descriptions, and tags for books and other products.
- Create SEO-friendly titles and tags for YouTube videos.
- Manage product listings on the website as well as on e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart.
- Carry out keyword research and build strategies aimed at increasing sales.
- Plan, run, and monitor Facebook Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
- Take care of technical SEO and related technical tasks.
Requirements
- Hands-on work experience of at least 1 to 2 years in SEO and digital marketing.
- Direct practical exposure to e-commerce SEO and product listing; basic theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient.
- Working knowledge of website development fundamentals, along with practical experience using WordPress.
- Experience in running Facebook Ads and Google Ads, plus setting up and managing Facebook Pixel correctly.
- Ability to promote products effectively and optimize content in both Bengali and English.
- Strong commitment to work and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
