About the Role
Morningstar's Corporate Systems team manages global enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, Oracle ERP, and Salesforce, supporting diverse departments such as IT Operations, HR, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. The team ensures smooth daily operations, system compliance, security updates, and performance improvements across these platforms. This role focuses on advancing the ServiceNow environment within the Corporate Systems, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance IT and HR service management processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and interfaces to fulfill organizational needs, especially covering HRSD, HAM, SAM, ITSM, Now Assist Virtual Agent, and CMDB areas.
- Maintain and develop a comprehensive Service Catalog including service offerings, request workflows, and SLAs.
- Work closely with the platform team and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective ServiceNow technical solutions.
- Utilize JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML skills for scripting, customization, and integrations within ServiceNow.
- Lead integration projects, implementing end-to-end data migrations and third-party system connections.
- Create custom reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to offer real-time service insights.
- Conduct thorough testing including automated test frameworks to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Continuously research and apply best practices and new features within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all ServiceNow configurations and custom developments.
- Proactively identify and recommend system improvements to boost efficiency and functionality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant ServiceNow development experience, with minimum 6 years focusing on at least two modules other than ITSM (e.g., HRSD, HAM).
- Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure solution quality and robustness.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude for designing practical ServiceNow solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CAD, HRSD, CMDB, or SAM are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is advantageous.
