Senior ServiceNow Developer - Integrated Risk Management (IRM)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer specializing in the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) suite to guide the technical architecture and development efforts within this domain.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated Control Indicators that extract evidence directly from various ServiceNow modules like CMDB, SecOps, HAM/SAM to facilitate compliance validation without manual processes.
• Configure and customize comprehensive Risk Frameworks, including Risk Statements and Assessment Templates, to enable automated identification and scoring of both qualitative and quantitative risks.
• Develop complex Entity Types and apply Entity Filters to accurately associate risks and controls with the appropriate business assets and organizational units.
• Create technical solutions supporting the entire Audit Management lifecycle, such as workflow automation for evidence requests and mechanisms for tracking findings.
• Develop advanced scripting components including Script Includes, Business Rules, and UI Actions to manage intricate risk-scoring computations (covering both Inherited and Residual Risks) along with consolidating compliance data.
• Design and enhance the Policy Exception management workflow to support proper routing, approval processes, and monitoring of expiration dates.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 7 years in ServiceNow development overall, with at least 3 years focused on IRM/GRC modules involving Policy & Compliance, Risk, and Audit domains.
• In-depth knowledge of the IRM data architecture, particularly relationships among Policies, Authority Documents, Citations, Controls, and Risks.
• Strong proficiency in Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to automate evidence gathering through API connections with external security and cloud platforms.
• Expert-level scripting skills in JavaScript and the Glide API for programming customized assessments and advanced roll-up logic.
