Role Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in expanding revenue by identifying prospective business leads, maintaining client partnerships, and delivering customized elevator and escalator solutions tailored to commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects. This role requires blending technical knowledge with consultative selling skills, serving as a liaison among developers, architects, consultants, and internal engineering and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively source and develop new leads and sales pipelines related to new installations, modernization projects, or service and maintenance contracts.
  • Engage in tender processes, craft detailed commercial proposals, and negotiate contractual terms.
  • Ensure all company safety and compliance standards are strictly followed.
  • Meet and collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand requirements and present appropriate solutions.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Serve as the link between the company and current and potential markets.
  • Conduct negotiations to finalize sales agreements.
  • Collect and analyze market and customer data.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, and product demonstrations.

  • Calculate material costs using established tools or coordinate with the factory for accurate pricing when specifications allow.
  • Derive total cost estimates including materials, installation, and local expenses to prepare client quotations.
  • Collaborate with departments such as installation, projects, finance, and safety to compile necessary documentation for quotation submissions, including managing bonds and special approvals.

Qualifications and Skills
