Role Overview
Nalanda Engicon Pvt. Ltd., a construction and civil engineering company based in Noida, is looking for a Senior Purchase Executive to support procurement activities for water supply projects.
Core Responsibilities
The role focuses on sourcing and purchasing materials for infrastructure and civil works, with an emphasis on water supply project requirements.
- Procure DI and HDPE pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, and other civil materials needed for project execution.
- Assess vendors and compare options to support informed procurement decisions.
- Review BOQs to understand material requirements and purchasing scope.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with project needs and approved rates.
- Coordinate transportation, delivery schedules, logistics, and inventory flow to keep materials available on time.
- Manage rate contracts and support ongoing procurement planning for construction and infrastructure work.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have prior exposure to the infrastructure sector and should be able to handle procurement responsibilities in a construction environment.
