Role overview
The Senior Officer Licensing position focuses on handling online licensing, permit, and NOC requests accurately and efficiently within the Licensing Division. The job combines application review, document checking, issue resolution, data entry, and regular coordination with internal teams and external customers.
Key responsibilities
Application review and processing
- Carefully assess online submissions for ADM-related services such as marine facility licensing, company operational permits, NOCs, and other similar requests.
- Check that all uploaded details and supporting documents are complete and correct.
- Spot missing information or inconsistencies and follow up to resolve them.
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their applications, required documents, and next actions using clear and professional communication.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns in a timely, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Use customer feedback to identify service gaps and support improvements in customer satisfaction.
Communication and coordination
- Work with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
- Meet customers in person or online when needed to collect information, clarify concerns, and strengthen trust.
- Coordinate with the Senior Manager of Licensing and Senior Licensing Specialists on more complex cases or requests to ensure a smooth customer journey.
System support and management
- Partner with IT support to fix technical issues affecting customer portals, employee portals, and other related IT needs.
- Maintain solid working knowledge of the licensing platform and its features.
Data management
- Enter and update fine and violation records accurately in the designated portal.
- Create and maintain detailed statistics for Licensing Division services.
Qualifications
The role requires a high school diploma and basic computer literacy. Candidates should speak both English and Arabic fluently. Fresh graduates may apply, or applicants with a high school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing or administrative position. A willingness to learn about the maritime or licensing sector is also important.
