Role overview
This position is for a senior infrastructure and network engineering professional based in Doha, Qatar. The role centers on advanced Cisco data center networking, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-grade security and load-balancing technologies.
Core technical focus
The work requires deep hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and Nexus 9K platforms, including fabric design, sizing, policy architecture, and APIC administration. The engineer should be comfortable working with ACI logical components such as tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, L3Outs, and service graphs with policy-based routing.
Strong Layer 3 routing knowledge is needed, particularly across BGP and OSPF, along with a solid understanding of data center security principles.
Automation and DevOps
The role also involves infrastructure automation using REST APIs, Terraform, and Ansible. Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices, scripting, and Git-based CI/CD workflows is expected.
Application delivery and security systems
Practical exposure to F5 Application Delivery Controllers, including LTM and APM, is required. The position also calls for experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point. Additional familiarity with Cisco ESA, Fortinet IPS, and F5 ASM is relevant to the environment.
Systems and troubleshooting
The engineer should be proficient in Linux command-line operations, TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing concepts. Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK for diagnosis and proactive issue detection is also needed.

- At least 8 years of Cisco data center networking experience.
- Background in on-premise to cloud migration work.
- Strong practical capability in networking, DevOps, and infrastructure support.
