Senior Graphic Designer - CorelDRAW Expert

About the Role

Usha Printings, based in Vadodara, seeks a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer specializing in CorelDRAW to join our personalised gifting, corporate gifting, and printing business. We require a creative and efficient designer with an advanced command of CorelDRAW and a solid background in printing and advertising-related industries including flex, signage, DTP, packaging, personalised gifts, and garment printing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design graphics for a variety of products such as T-shirts, sublimation jerseys, mugs, bottles, photo frames, keychains, and other personalised gifts.
• Create mockups and product presentations for corporate gifting, as well as design catalogs.
• Design visiting cards, stickers, labels, banners, posters, certificates, ID cards, and flex displays.
• Prepare print-ready files for various printing techniques including DTF, sublimation, UV-DTF, laser engraving and cutting, and outsourced printing processes.
• Produce precise customer mockups prior to production commencement.
• Manage urgent corrections and implement customer-requested revisions quickly.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on spelling, measurements, colors, margins, and resolution before file submission for production.
• Convert photos, logos, and reference images into usable print files, including tracing and preparing clean vector logos from lower-quality images.
• Handle large corporate orders while ensuring design consistency across outputs.
• Systematically organize editable files, fonts, templates, and final exported files.
• Collaborate with the production team to prevent printing errors and ensure smooth workflow.
• Review junior designers' work and provide constructive guidance where needed.
• Maintain daily updates regarding tasks and order status.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years experience in graphic design.
• Advanced practical experience with CorelDRAW is essential.
• Familiarity with print-ready file specifications and processes.
• In-depth understanding of CMYK, RGB color modes, bleed, margins, resolution, and sizing requirements.
• Ability to produce accurate, production-ready design files matching customer specifications.
• Capable of working efficiently with attention to spelling, alignment, and print quality details.
• Portfolio or design samples are mandatory for application.
• Must be prepared to complete a practical design test as part of the interview process.
• Basic to intermediate Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Preferred additional skills: Adobe Illustrator, Canva, basic AI design tools, basic photo editing and background removal.
• Candidates proficient only in Canva or social media post designs without strong CorelDRAW skills need not apply.
• Experience in printing operations will be given preference.

• Weekly Off: Sunday
• Salary Range: INR 15,000 to INR 24,000 per month, based on expertise and portfolio.
• Immediate or early joining is preferred.
