Role overview
GDA Wins is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to support a fast-moving, high-stakes election-cycle environment. The team partners with account staff to develop sharp, persuasive creative work that helps clients succeed. This role suits someone with a highly polished visual eye, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive when deadlines are tight.
This is a full-time position tied to the election cycle, with compensation and benefits offered. Work may extend beyond standard business hours, particularly as election day approaches. The role is remote, though working from an office in Washington, DC is also possible if preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling, strategic, and visually engaging creative materials.
- Work closely with stakeholders in a professional, collaborative way.
- Incorporate feedback and refine designs to arrive at the strongest final solution.
- Build print-ready artwork that follows accepted production standards.
- Handle additional duties as needed.
Experience, knowledge, and strengths needed
- 5 to 10 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency setting.
- A portfolio that shows strong concept-driven and visually dynamic work.
- Hands-on expertise with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator on a Mac.
- Practical experience preparing files for print production.
- Strong ownership of deliverables and accountability for quality.
- Comfort working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including while remote.
Preferred background
- Direct mail design experience is an advantage.
- Illustration ability is a plus.
- Interest in politics, progressive causes, or activism is welcomed.
- Experience using Dropbox and Slack is helpful.
