Role Overview

This position as a Senior Financial Analyst within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a vital role partnering with revenue-focused teams across Care.com's diverse business segments. You will lead revenue budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, collaborating with business leaders to translate financial data into strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage revenue models that underpin budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning across corporate lines.
• Track and evaluate primary revenue metrics and business trends, providing senior leadership with regular updates and detailed variance analyses.
• Design, assess, and clearly communicate business plans, budgets, and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities affecting revenue outcomes, offering proactive recommendations.
• Prepare and support weekly reports highlighting operational results and forecasts across company divisions.
• Collaborate closely with finance managers and business unit leaders to facilitate strategic decision-making within strict deadlines.
• Create comprehensive materials for business reviews and forecast update meetings.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and present findings clearly to senior management.
• Build and sustain advanced financial models prioritizing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Contribute to improving forecasting and reporting processes and tools.
• Operate independently and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Between two to four years’ experience in finance or analytics roles; backgrounds in investment banking, consulting, or finance within small to mid-sized companies are highly suitable.
• Proven ownership of revenue budgeting and forecasting processes, not merely supporting roles.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities focused on developing clean, scalable, and efficient models.
• Solid knowledge of finance, accounting principles, economics, and statistics.
• Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, comfortable influencing senior leadership with presentations.

Additional Details

Office Location: Dallas, TX - 2801 North Central Expressway, 11th Floor, 75204

Compensation: Annual base salary between 100000 and 110000 USD, varying by location, experience, and performance. Additional compensation may include bonuses and incentive programs.
