Job description

Overview

The selected individual will be part of Singapore Airlines' Corporate Learning Centre within the Human Resources division. Their focus will be on designing and executing comprehensive leadership and people development initiatives aimed at reinforcing leadership capabilities and cultivating a robust leadership pipeline across enterprise and business sectors.

Key Duties

  • Design an integrated Leadership and People Development (LPD) curriculum aligned with the organization's leadership strategy, serving as a clear learning roadmap for employees to develop relevant skills for current and future roles.
  • Oversee external training consultants to ensure delivery of superior LPD programs and maximize learning retention through pre- and post-training reinforcements.
  • Coordinate and implement leadership and behavioral assessments, independently or with Talent Management, and craft personalized development plans for senior leaders to address competency gaps.
  • Collaborate on creating leadership content for senior leader Management Trainers to foster a 'leader-as-coach' culture that promotes knowledge sharing and enhances engagement at multiple leadership levels.
  • Regularly evaluate the organization’s continuing education programs to maintain alignment with company goals and national workforce initiatives.
  • Ensure the leadership orientation and onboarding programs remain relevant and best-in-class.
  • Elevate focus on leadership and people development competencies throughout the organization.
  • Manage logistical and administrative responsibilities related to leadership training, supported by the Learning Shared Services Team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a university.
  • At least five years of professional experience in Learning & Development, ideally within Leadership & People Development or Talent Management.
  • Certification in WSA Advanced Certificate in Training & Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA).
  • Additional certification such as WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Resourcefulness, analytical thinking, and solid conceptual abilities.
  • Competency in data analytics.
