Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) to lead transformative projects utilizing state-of-the-art language models. This role offers full responsibility over the technical stack for developing and deploying AI solutions and involves close collaboration with stakeholders. You will contribute significantly to shaping our data science strategy focused on generative AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s data science roadmap with an emphasis on Generative AI and agentic workflows.
- Discover and leverage data-driven opportunities that deliver measurable business impact.
- Manage end-to-end technical aspects of model development and deployment pipelines.
- Create and sustain scalable machine learning models alongside efficient data processing pipelines.
- Promote strong data governance and engineering standards.
- Work cross-functionally to understand needs and provide actionable insights.
- Effectively translate complex technical information for diverse internal audiences.
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related discipline, or comparable expertise.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with Generative AI and agentic workflow implementations.
- Proven track record in delivering complex AI projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary language models and machine learning frameworks.
- Practical experience with LLM-supporting frameworks, tools, and advanced prompting methodologies.
- Skill in managing feedback loops for model training and fine-tuning.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R or other strongly-typed languages.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and their deployment environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with big data ecosystems like Spark, Hadoop, or commercial data warehouses and data lakes.
- Strong competencies in data architecture design and database management.
- Broad expertise in data engineering and management tools.
