Role Overview - Senior Audit & Assurance
In this role, you will enhance your expertise and demonstrate competencies across audit processes by establishing trust with stakeholders, understanding their specific expectations, and delivering quality services that consider regulatory and risk factors.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the client’s business and industry context before engagement initiation
- Customize audit scopes and instructions to define clear procedural focuses, recognizing group audit structures
- Coordinate efficiently with onshore/offshore Centers of Excellence, delegating and managing information accuracy
- Monitor deliverables from component auditors, understanding their relevance, and integrate audit risks, controls, and findings in documentation timely
- Clearly explain audit quality milestones and promote early execution of audit plans where possible
- Prepare well-documented reports anticipating reviewers’ queries and distinguish between accounting and auditing judgments
- Build relationships beyond finance departments to deepen entity understanding and apply professional skepticism appropriately
- Maintain awareness of engagement lifecycle risks, regulatory landscape, and practice protection guidelines

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
- Minimum of 4 years’ public auditing experience in large audit firms
- Experienced in supervising staff, verifying financial records, analyzing data, producing audit reports, and resolving accounting queries
- Proven skills in managing engagements and teams, ensuring delivery according to schedules and standards
- International certification such as CA (preferred), ACCA, or CPA is highly desirable
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written; candidates fluent in Arabic and English will be favored
