Senior Anaplan Developer

Overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Senior Anaplan Model Builder with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience, preferably based in Kolkata or Pune. The role focuses on end-to-end Anaplan model development and support in various functional domains including Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, Procurement, and Financial Planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Anaplan models covering modules, lists, hierarchies, line items, actions, and processes.
• Create insightful dashboards and Anaplan UX pages tailored to user needs.
• Architect and design effective model structures ensuring optimal performance.
• Lead full lifecycle Anaplan development: requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, data, and application issues within Anaplan models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders independently to ensure smooth project execution.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 6 to 8 years of in-depth Anaplan Model Building expertise at Level 2 to 3 proficiency.
• Strong capabilities in modules, lists, hierarchies, line items, actions, processes, dashboards, and UX development.
• Proven skills in model optimization and tuning for enhanced performance.
• Functional knowledge in at least one domain: Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Procurement, or Financial Planning.
• Experience with Anaplan integrations and connected planning technology.

Preferred Additional Expertise

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure platforms, and enterprise data environments.
• Familiarity with APIs, Anaplan Connect, Logic Apps, and SQL data transformation concepts.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) for development operations.

Additional Information

Core Anaplan Model Building skills remain the highest priority; supplementary skills in Azure, SQL, APIs, and data platform tools complement but do not replace the primary Anaplan expertise.
