Role Overview
As part of Lambda's accelerated growth trajectory, the Capital Markets and Corporate Development team is expanding. The Senior Analyst will be pivotal in steering strategic growth efforts by managing acquisitions, investments, financing, and partnerships that align with Lambda's long-term ambitions.
Note: This role requires physical presence in either the San Francisco or New York City office for four days weekly, with Tuesdays designated as remote workdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, capital raises (debt and equity), and partnerships to foster growth, enhance operations, strengthen financial health, and broaden market presence.
- Lead and develop comprehensive financial models, conduct valuations, assess capital structures, and perform due diligence linked to deals and financing initiatives.
- Perform strategic and financial assessments of various opportunities, delivering clear business cases, financing documentation, and presentations targeting executive audiences.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, capital markets, and emerging opportunities to guide corporate strategies and regularly update stakeholders on these dynamics.
- Formulate investment theses, craft financing approaches, and analyze markets to underpin strategic planning and capital deployment.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships enhancing Lambda's product suite, distribution networks, technological infrastructure, and overarching corporate goals, including collaborations with financial sponsors, lenders, and investors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or venture capital with a preference for backgrounds related to AI, cloud computing, debt capital, or restructuring.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise, including proficiency in corporate, merger, project finance, or debt financing models.
- Strong strategic analytical skills to distill market data into action-oriented insights that influence key decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, particularly to executive teams and external stakeholders.
- Adeptness in managing dynamic, complex projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI, cloud infrastructure, and new technologies; experience in machine learning or GPU computing is highly advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation package ranges from $173,000 to $230,000 annually, calibrated against market standards and candidate qualifications. Lambda offers competitive cash and equity packages alongside comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans covering dependents.
